Catching up

Hello Readers and Snail Friends,

It's been a while hasn't it?

There have been many changes afoot over the past year or two:

1) The passing of C's mom. She was a nice lady who often fed us and was also a friend to dolphins. We miss her a lot.

2) C. got a new job. She looks tired a lot. She's actually sick right now, and we're kinda worried about the quality of the mucus she's been coughing up - i.e. her bright shiny trail isn't so so bright and shiny As snails, we are especially concerned. As a general rule of health, everyone's mucus should be bright and shiny. Hopefully the antibiotics will help.

3) New indoor friends: Please welcome Billy Snale and Haley Snailey and Pickles to our family. Haley enjoys reading Jane Austen novels and watching cooking shows. Billy likes to eat corn. Pickles is crocheted and sniffs flowers.

4) Rosalynd has been on an extended visit to Southern California with D. She has driven everywhere from Riverside to Santa Monica and up through the Hills. We anticipate expensive presents upon her return.

5) C has established a snail spa in the backyard for compost bin expatriates and lemon tree frequenters. It has become a safe place for snails to estivate unharmed and undisturbed by gardening activities.

C is writing a comic book about us. It is loosely based on our adventures and the "snail community condition" at large, and she has been slowly moving forward in proper land mollusk fashion.
