Gary's po'try collection

As readers know, one of our very own snails is a gifted writer of haiku. We'd like to take this moment to feature a short selection of his work:

I flew through the air

and cracked as I landed. OUCH!

Why did he throw me?

Planned to take a glide

-but today, I think I'll rest

and repair my shell.

--------------------
concrete damp from rain

no ominous foot in sight

great day for a glide

---------------------

condiments to some

weapons of mass destruction

to creatures like me

----------------------

San Francisco fog

moistens the path before me

my home outside home

-------------------

hungry for lettuce

we gather in providence

consuming a leaf

-------------------

a glistening trail

is all that's left of my friend

breakfast for a crow
